As part of the ongoing cooperation with European experts, a guest lecture devoted to career development and professional opportunities in the European digital marketing industry was organized for students of the Faculty of Economics. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Sven Wilhelm and focused on current career trajectories in digital marketing across Europe.

Dr. Sven Wilhelm is a practitioner and consultant in the field of digital marketing, specializing in professional development, career strategies, and the interaction between education and the European labor market.

The event was held within the framework of the initiative of the Department of Management, European Management Studio, and was primarily aimed at undergraduate students majoring in Management who are enrolled in the English-taught course Digital Marketing Management.

During the lecture, particular attention was paid to:

  • the current landscape and key trends of the European digital marketing industry;
  • competences and professional experience expected from young specialists by employers;
  • the importance of a strong personal digital footprint and online reputation management for career development;
  • the role of LinkedIn as one of the main channels for recruitment and professional networking;
  • practical recommendations for building a competitive professional profile for the European labor market.

The lecture generated strong interest and active interaction with the student audience. Participants had the opportunity to discuss their own career expectations, share experiences, and ask questions related to employer requirements, professional growth, and adaptation to the European digital marketing labor market.

The event contributed to strengthening the applied dimension of student training and to further bridging academic education with the real demands of the European labor market.

The event was supported by the Horst Rogusch Foundation for Sustainable Entrepreneurship
(Horst Rogusch Stiftung für nachhaltiges Unternehmertum, Düsseldorf, Germany).
