Guest Lecture by Professor Sebastian Gechert, Head of the Department of Macroeconomics (Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany)

On Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:10 p.m. Kyiv time, Professor Sebastian Gechert, Head of the Chair of Macroeconomics at Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, will deliver a guest lecture on “Education, Institutions, and Economic Growth.”

The lecture is intended for master’s and doctoral students majoring in 051 “Economics” and C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations”, specializing in C1.01 “Economics.”

The event is organized on the initiative of Professor Marianna Kichurchak, Acting Head of the Department of Economy of Ukraine, and Professor Ostap Vatamaniuk, Department of Economic Theory, and the program coordinator of the educational programs for C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations,” specialization C1.01 “Economics.”

This lecture is part of the joint project “Lernbrücke Chemnitz-Lviv 2025,” implemented by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in cooperation with Chemnitz University of Technology under the program “Higher Education Projects to Support the Educational Process in Ukrainian Universities through Digitalization” of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), with support from the Harald Christ Foundation for Democracy and Diversity.
