Guest Lectures on European Digital Marketing Management Delivered by Dr. Sven Wilhelm

From October 24 to November 7, students of management attended a series of guest lectures on European Digital Marketing Management, delivered by Dr. Sven Wilhelm. The lectures were part of the “Digital Marketing Management” course taught in English, as well as the “PR Management” course led by Associate Professor Marianna Kokhan. Master’s students enrolled in “Project Management,” instructed by Associate Professor Anna Hryshchuk, also participated in the event.

The lectures were open to all students in management, providing a broad opportunity for engagement.

Dr. Sven Wilhelm, an experienced entrepreneur and investor in the fields of digital marketing and SaaS since 2008, is currently invested in the Berlin-based digital marketing agency Suxeedo GmbH. In addition to his roles as a lecturer at CBS International Business School, Witten/Herdecke University, and RWTH Aachen University, Dr. Wilhelm is a coach and consultant for emerging founders and entrepreneurs (admenco.de) and serves as Co-Managing Director of the Horst Rogusch Foundation for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (Wuppertal).




The lecture series addressed two primary themes: digital content marketing strategies and career pathways in the European digital marketing industry. Dr. Wilhelm explored the essentials of digital content marketing, providing insights into the digital customer journey and its critical role in effective content strategies. He highlighted practical objectives and KPIs for content marketing campaigns, showcasing useful tools and techniques for optimizing results within budget constraints.

The career-focused segment provided a comprehensive overview of the European digital marketing landscape, discussing the skills and experiences most valued in potential candidates. Dr. Wilhelm emphasized the significance of maintaining a strong online professional presence and the role of LinkedIn as a primary platform for talent networking and recruitment in the digital marketing field.

The series attracted over 80 bachelor’s and PhD students specializing in Management (specialty code 073). The lectures were part of a broader collaboration between the Department of Management and the Horst Rogusch Foundation for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, under the educational programs for bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels. Organized within the framework of the European Management Studio project, led by Associate Professor of Management Marianna Kokhan and in collaboration with the Career Office of Lviv University. The European Management Studio project is dedicated to enhancing students’ knowledge and understanding of management practices in European markets, empowering them with practical insights and skills for their future careers.
