Marianna Kichurchak, Professor of the Department of Economy of Ukraine, was honoured to participate in the Thematic Summit on Physical Sciences & Engineering, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Energy organised by SOLARIS Centre (the National Synchrotron Radiation Centre) at Jagiellonian University.

The summit brought together scholars and researchers from different academic fields to discuss interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary societal, technological, and energy-related challenges, with a particular focus on sustainable development and international research cooperation.

During the event, Marianna Kichurchak presented research perspectives on the role of human capital and digital transformation in supporting the sustainable development and post-war recovery of Ukraine. The presentation highlighted the importance of innovation-driven development, knowledge-based economic transformation, and the strengthening of the information and communication sector as key factors for enhancing economic resilience and long-term recovery.

The summit provided an important platform for academic exchange and international dialogue on the future of sustainable and inclusive development in Europe and beyond.
