On exemption from taking the ACCA Taxation (TX) exam for students majoring in “Accounting and Taxation” of the Department of Accounting and Audit

The Department of Accounting and Audit has achieved another milestone in ACCA accreditation – exemption from the Taxation (TX) exam for graduates of the “Accounting and Taxation” program

The Faculty of Economics at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is pleased to announce that, thanks to the continuous and productive cooperation of the Department of Accounting and Audit in accrediting its academic programs with the international professional body ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), graduates of the “Accounting and Taxation” program have been granted an exemption from the Taxation (TX) exam.

This is already the sixth exemption out of 13 ACCA exams, as last year the department obtained an exemption from Performance Management (PM). This achievement confirms the high quality of the academic programs and their alignment with international standards.

As a result, graduates of the “Accounting and Taxation” program will progress towards the prestigious international ACCA qualification much faster. Thanks to ACCA accreditation, they gain international recognition of their knowledge, which enhances their competitiveness in the global labor market and opens career opportunities in leading auditing and consulting firms, international business, and the public sector.
