She emphasised that the partnership between Lviv University and Chemnitz University has been thriving for four years, thanks to the financial support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the assistance of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as the Harald Christ Foundation for Democracy and Diversity. Over this period, numerous initiatives have been implemented to support students and promote the exchange of experience between academics, laying the groundwork for the launch of this international professional development programme.
In her speech, Professor Silke Hüsing emphasised that creativity, innovation, and digital tools provide a powerful foundation for the professional growth of educators in the context of ongoing technological transformation. She noted that the integration of innovative approaches into higher education is essential not only for improving the quality of teaching and learning, but also for preparing new generations of professionals who are able to meet the challenges of the modern economy and technological development. Concluding her address, Professor Hüsing wished the participants a fruitful learning experience and encouraged them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to implement digital solutions in a creative educational environment.

She concluded by wishing the participants inspiration, successful studies, and continued success in implementing innovations in their academic work.
The professional development programme will continue until 8 October 2025.
