Шановні студенти, аспіранти і викладачі, 6-7 квітня 2020 року з 15.05 до 18.00 (8 академічних годин) у аудиторії 309, в приміщенні економічного факультету Львівського національного університету імені Івана Франка (м. Львів, проспект Свободи, 18) відбудеться воркшоп Забіхолла (Забі) Резай, професора кафедри бухгалтерського обліку з університету Мемфіса (США) на тему : “Дослідження, послуги і можливості навчання у корпоративному управлінні, професійній етиці, сталому розвитку бізнесу і судовій бухгалтерії”.
 

 

RESEARCH, SERVICE AND TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, PROFESSIONAL ETHICS, BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY AND FORENSIC ACCOUNTING

In today’s business environment corporations worldwide are under close scrutiny and profound pressure from lawmakers, regulators, to improve their corporate governance and accountability. Business sustainability of focusing on multiple bottom line (MBL) of economic, governance, social, ethical, and environmental (EGSEE) performance is also gaining considerable attention. The ever-improving corporate governance and accountability for business organizations appears to be an international trend. The global investment community is holding public companies responsible and accountable for their business activities and their financial reporting process. Several areas that have recently received considerable attention are: corporate governance, professional ethics, business sustainability and forensic accounting including financial reporting fraud. Business schools worldwide play an important role in preparing the most ethical and competent future business leaders who understand corporate governance, business sustainability, professional ethics, financial accounting, auditing and forensic accounting. This workshop is intended to develop an awareness and understanding of the main themes, perspectives, frameworks, and teaching and research opportunities in corporate governance, professional ethics, business sustainability and forensic accounting. This workshop provides faculty, practitioners and students with both technical and soft skills needed to be successful teacher, researcher and business leaders. This workshop takes a holistic teaching approach of focuses on value-adding roles of all participants in the corporate governance process who share collective responsibility of creating shareholder value, protecting interests of other stakeholders, complying with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, ethics standards and best practices and producing reliable, transparent, and high-quality financial information.
