OSINT Research on Cultural Heritage and Its Virtualization in the Spotlight of Conscious Youth and Practitioners!

On November 6, 2025, the 8th International Quest-Competition on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) “Hunting the Assets – Online Detective” took place. Participants from Ukraine and Slovakia demonstrated their skills in working with open-source information.

It is encouraging that alongside students and cadets of Ukrainian universities, school pupils, members of the Junior Academy of Sciences, postgraduate students, and practitioners also show strong interest in intelligence analytics. In total, 54 teams took part in the quest-competition, with more than 270 participants overall.

The event was organized with the support of the Faculty of Economics and the Science Park of Lviv University. Methodological guidance was provided by the Department of Finance, Money Circulation and Credit.

Four teams shared the third place on the competition podium:
“Princess Ball” and “Financial Dvizh” from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv,
as well as “Didzhoosy” and “Future Champions” from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Kharkiv).

The second place went to the team “Duo Diligence” (Ivan Franko National University of Lviv).
The winner of the quest-competition was the team “Special Security Group” (Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University).
