The victory of students of the Faculty of Economics in the All-Ukrainian competition of startups “From idea to success”
Students of the “Finance, Banking and Insurance” specialty of the Faculty of Economics, Oscar Soroka and Andriy Asiutin with the startup “Travel Go” won the third place in the VI All-Ukrainian competition of student projects “From Idea to Success”, which was held at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
This prestigious competition is organized for undergraduate and graduate students of higher education institutions of Ukraine within the framework of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence “European Studies of Social Innovation in Education” (ESSIE) project (2022-2025).
Contest participants had the opportunity to present their works in the following thematic sections:
Section 1. Projects in the agricultural sector.
Section 2. Projects in other sectors of the economy.
Section 3. Social projects.
Section 4. Community development projects.
The competition was held in 2 rounds. To participate in the 1st selection round, the participants had to send a video presentation of the project, its Power Point presentation and a short summary to the organizing committee. An independent competition commission formed from representatives of employers chose the best student works for the final 2nd round of the competition, which took place on November 9-10, 2022 online.
The authoritative jury highly praised the project of the tourism mobile application “Travel Go” by students of the Faculty of Economics Oskar Soroka and Andriy Asyutin and awarded them with a III degree diploma.
We congratulate Oscar and Andriy, as well as their supervisor – Professor of the Department of Finance, Money Circulation and Credit Nazar Demchyshak, on the victory and wish them further success in their work!
