Stanislav Korchemlyuk, a student of the Faculty of Economics at Lviv University, is a silver medalist of the Athens Junior European Cup Judo 2022

On March 27, 2022, Stanislav Korchemliuk, a first-year student of the Faculty of Economics at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, won an honorary silver medal at the prestigious international tournament – Junior European Cup Judo 2022 (U-21), held in Athens (Greece).

Our athlete won ahead of schedule all the matches of the previous rounds and the semifinal fight, losing only in an equal fight to the athlete from Azerbaijan in the final. Stanislav was the only representative of Ukraine among men in this competition.

This event convincingly proved that even during difficult trials, Ukrainians retain the strength of spirit, strive for victory and will definitely win it not only on sports grounds, but also in the fight against the Russian aggressor-occupier!
