VIII International Scientific Conference Prospects for the Development of Entrepreneurship from a Global Perspective was conducted in cooperation with the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz

On April 17, 2024, was held the 8th International Scientific Conference Prospects for the Development of Entrepreneurship from a Global Perspective The conference proceedings was held in the MS Teams system.

Hosted by the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz, this conference was a collaborative effort with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy, and the Entrepreneurship Center of the Faculty of Management, University of Lodz, in partnership with Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, M. I. Dolishni Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ege University (Turkey). Members from the Faculty of Economics of Lviv University Associate Professors of Entrepreneurship Andrii Gukaliuk and Management Marianna Kokhan, also contributed as part of the scientific board.

The conference, facilitated through the MS Teams platform, aimed to address contemporary challenges in entrepreneurship and innovation, fostering dialogue, sharing experiences, and inspiring international collaboration. Noteworthy contributions were made during the conference proceedings by academics of Faculty of Economics of Lviv University such as Professor Marianna Kichurchak (Department of Economics of Ukraine), Assoc. Prof. Iryna Paslavska (Department of Economic Cybernetics), Prof. Oksana Senyshyn, Assoc. Prof. Nataliya Danylevych, and Assoc. Prof. Marianna Kokhan (Department of Management).

Various aspects of entrepreneurship and its developmental paradigms were explored, encompassing themes such as Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Consulting, Innovative Projects Management, Sources of Financing Innovation, Entrepreneurial Behavior, Entrepreneurship Education, Enterprise Development Management, and Corporate Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, discussions extended to the enhancement of the business landscape at international, national, and local levels.

Approximately 100 participants from Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine contributed their insights, enriching the discourse at the conference.

We would like to remind you that this marks the eighth installment in a series of conferences organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Management of the University of Łódź. Additionally, within the framework of scientific cooperation, Prof. Renata Lisovska, Head of the Scientific Council of the conference and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Lodz University, is a member of the editorial board of the scientific collection “Formation of the Market Economy in Ukraine,” published by the Faculty of Economics (with Prof. Oksana Senyshyn serving as the editor–in-chief).
